Python Job: Software Developer

Python Developer / DevOps (f/m/d)
We're a Berlin-based, remote-first SaaS start-up, looking for a Python Developer / DevOps to strengthen our international team.

Your responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, well-tested and scalable code;
• Use Python for web scraping;
• Scale an asynchronous web scraping system and make sure it runs well in production;
• Development and maintenance of REST APIs;
• Help define standards and best practices;

• Architecture / planning and choice of technologies / frameworks / tools;
• Code reviews;
• Depending on your experience, mentoring other developers;
• Strengthen the local and international Python ecosystem.

Your profile
Required skill set:

• Experience with
• Python;
• Git;
• Object-oriented programming

• Experience with planning and requirements gathering;
• Self time management and organisation;
• English fluency.

Bonus:

• Experience with web scraping frameworks;
• Has worked with RabbitMQ, Elixir, SQL or No-SQL Databases;
• Experience with DevOps and Docker / Linux;
• Knowledge in agile methodologies;
• Experience working with open-source projects.
